Sunday School - 9:30 A.M.

"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."
      2 Timothy 2:15 (NIV)

We invite you to attend our Sunday School!

All children and youth classes (2 yr. old through Senior High) use the new curriculum “Gather ‘Round: Hearing and Sharing God’s Good News.”   Gather ’Round is Bible story-centered, with an emphasis on helping kids become disciples of Jesus and strengthening the connection between church and home.
The winter study is Salt and Light. The focus of the stories in the winter quarter is the birth and ministry of Jesus viewed largely through the eyes of Matthew. There are three significant themes in this Gospel.
1. Prophecy and fulfillment: Matthew identifies prophecies from scripture that point toward Jesus.
2. The call to discipleship: Jesus calls individuals to follow him as faithful disciples and empowers them with his own authority to carry on his mission of compassion.
3. The upside-down kingdom: Matthew's gospel includes stories of profound and far reaching reversals. Jesus also turns our ordinary expectations upside down and reveals them to us for a new kind of kingdom.
