Journal
Entry:
Today was a looooong travel
day! Because we had to leave at six in the morning, many people took
many snoozes on the bus! Some of the highlights of the day included
many bonding experiences and being able to see the corn palace in the
evening. My new friends and I are learning so much, I feel so lucky to
be able to take part in this bus trip!

We stopped at a "corny" place called the Corn Palace. All the
dec-"ear"-ations are parts of corn - stalks, husks, tassles, etc.
The Corn Palace is the only one of its kind in the world. |

Alex Stover (York First) finds the perfect gift at the Corn Palace, but
decides that he SHOULD NOT purchase it!!! Look closely at the handle! |

The York First and Genesis groups found a wagon in front of Bonanza,
our dinner stop. It was a great setting for a group picture. |

Relaxing in the pool after a long day of traveling on the bus.
We stayed at the Best Western Hotel in Mitchell, SD! |
