Quote
of the Day:
"Moose!" - Everyone
had fun with Sam's moose hat and mistaking elk for moose.
"AAaaaahhhhh!"
- At
one point in the
day, our bus driver turned into a lookout point so that we could take
pictures of the beautiful mountains. However, no one in the
bus
saw the turnoff and thought we were running off the road and over the
cliff into the steep valley below.
"There's
a buffalo!!"

Journal
Entry:
Dear Diary,
Okay, so we're
all pretty
tired, but it was still a good day. It started with a
fantastic
breakfast buffet at a restaurant next to our hotel. Our next stop was
Yellowstone National Park, where we saw a lot of wildlife, buffalos,
elk, mule deer, antelope and others. Sadly though, we saw
some
land that had been burnt by wildfires and we saw the smoke from other
fires in Yellowstone.
Ol' Faithful was still faithful and blew it's steam and water high into
the air. What an impressive sight!
Finally, on our way to the hotel tonight, we saw the impressive
granduer of the Teton mountains. And to top it all off, our
hotel
is at the base of the Grand Tetons.
We are so blessed! Thanks to all of our churches who have helped us to
experience this wonderful trip.
Sincerely,
Pastor Keith |
