Quote
of the Day:
"Buh-bye!" - Today was the day of reluctant
goodbyes. As
sad as it was, we will be sure to continue our fellowship from those
whom we have met at NYC for many years to contiue.

We say goodbye to the dorms which we have called home this past week.
Many of the girls lived on the twelfth, and top, floor of the
building, thus, the penthouse.

We walk to the cafteria for the last time.

Many of us ate extra-large breakfasts because it would be our final
time eating CSU food.

We say good-bye to our NYC friend A-Mack,or Alexandre Mack, who
educated the youth on Brethren heritage throughout the week.

Sarah K. and Erin M. soak up the energetic atmosphere in the last
morning service.

Each district takes their flag off of the stage in a musical ceremony,
which they had placed there the first day of NYC.

The band ends worship with a jovial rendition of "Come and See",
coincidentally our theme song for the week.

Youth pour out of the Moby arena as the final service comes to a close.

Advisors say their good-byes as the York First COB bus
prepares to leave.
Erin M. and Sarah K. say goodbye to Justin S. as they will be riding
the bus home and he will be flying.

Pastor Keith is so excited to start our bus days again!!

We traveled a lot today and saw many, many clouds. York First
girls think that this looks like a huge pig barking at a chicken. What
do you think?

Entry:
Today was our last day in Fort Collins,
Colorado.
This was surely a day of mixed emotions-bittersweet events were savored
with an ultimate knowing-our NYC days were coming to a close.
For such a day, the events could not have
transpired more
perfectly. Breakfast was filled with hearty hellos and long good-byes,
while many youth passed by the cafeteria to carry their luggage down to
check out of their
dorms.
Worship was especially potent and
moving, as we
were challenged to now go out into the world and apply what we have
learned at NYC to our daily lives.
Finally, the service let out, the bus
was loaded,
and final good-byes were made. As we loaded the bus, we watched sadly
as the CSU campus dissappeared into the distance.
However, this day was not simply full
of morose
happenings. Contrarily, the atmosphere inside the bus grew
exceedingly lively with games, laughter, and an all-over communal
atmosphere.
As we reached our hotel
those of us riding
the bus realized that these next days were going to be ones that we
would never forget.
