Quote of the Day:

"Sing us a song (fill in the name), sing us a song!" - Sections of the bus challenged others to seranade the entire bus while driving to the hotel.

"Oh, Pastor Keith, I love you...oh, yeah!" - John D. was goofing off with helium in this mouth after eating in the buffet.

Journal Entry:

Today was a busy travel day! We began the day with a delicious continental breakfast that our hotel had provided for us, and then we were set for a few hours of traveling to our next destination. Inspiring devotions and potent songs filled the air as we traveled -- after NYC, everyone was in the mood to praise God. We did so in many ways.  We even played "Whisper Down the Lane" also known as "Gossip!"
When we finally arrived at Churchill Downs, we were overcome with its exstensive decorum. We took a tour, watched a movie in a 360 degree theatre, and then explored the museum.
Next, we enjoyed the Louisville Slugger factory, where we had the opportunity of seeing first-hand how all of these major league baseball bats are fabricated. We were not allowed to take pictures in the factory, because of company rules. However, at the end of the tour, we were given a mini wooden bat to remember our visit!
Then we traveled a good distance to an Old Country Buffet look-alike, called Homestyle Buffet, and then to a spacious Best Western wth a glass dome and large pool area. We have been having a wonderful time!

TTFN,
Sarah K.
